TREATY United continue their search for a first SSE Airtricity League First Division win of the season this Friday night when hosting Waterford at the Markets Field, 7.45pm.

Treaty were denied picking up their first three points of the campaign in the most dramatic fashion on Friday night last when Athlone Town stunned Tommy Barrett's side with an equaliser deep in added time in a 2-2 draw.

Two Enda Curran goals had Treaty in firm control in the second half but 10 men Athlone fought back in the final stages with Isaie Louis and then Noah van Geenan's deflected effort in the 97th minute sealed a share of the spoils.

The result means ninth-placed Treaty United have picked up just two points from their opening five league fixtures.

Treaty have not managed to pick up a point in their opening two home league games this season following their opening night 1-0 loss to Bray Wanderers and a 3-0 home defeat to Cobh Ramblers in their most recent home fixture.

A much-changed Treaty side exited the Munster Senior Cup, 2-3, at the hands of Cobh at Jackman Park on Monday night.

Friday night's opponents Waterford sit in fourth place in the First Division table.
