TREATY United will be looking to pick up their first points of the new SSE Airtricity League First Division season when travelling to Tralee this Friday night to face league newcomers Kerry FC, 7.45pm at Mounthawk Park.

The Munster derby in Kerry FCs first season competing at this level is a sell-out.

Treaty have opened their First Division league campaign with back-to-back 1-0 defeats. Having suffered a dramatic late one-goal defeat at home to Bray Wanderers on the opening night of the league season, Treaty succumbed on a similar scoreline to Galway United at Terryland Park on Friday night last.

Galway scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute when Rob Slevin headed home from Donnellan's corner.

Treaty United are one of four teams in the First Division yet to pick up a point in the First Division this season. Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett made two changes to his starting line-up for Friday's game in Galway with debutant Andy Spain and  Willie Armshaw coming into the starting line-up as Dean George and Colin Conroy dropped to the bench.

New signing Alec Byrne was included in the matchday squad for the first time and was introduced as a second half substitute.

Friday night's opponents Kerry FC are also seeking their first points of the new league campaign.
