Munster women's head coach Niamh Briggs
THE Munster team has been named for tomorrow, Saturday’s Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship Round 1 clash with Ulster at Musgrave Park, 4.45pm, live on TG4.
Head Coach Niamh Briggs has named out-half Nicole Cronin as captain for the upcoming interprovincial campaign with Dorothy Wall named as vice captain.
Eleven players named in Saturday's starting 15 were involved in last season's title winning interprovincial series.
Up front, Róisín Ormond packs down alongside Kate Sheehan and Fiona Reidy with Clodagh O'Halloran and Claire Bennett named in the second-row.
The back-row consists of vice-captain Dororthy Wall, Maeve Óg O'Leary and Deirbhile Nic a Bháird.
Muirne Wall and captain Nicole Cronin renew their half-back partnership from last season's campaign with Wall at scrum-half and Cronin at out-half.
In midfield, Enya Breen partners up with Stephanie Nunan while the back-three is made up of Laura Sheehan, Aoife Doyle and Aoife Corey.
