Tommy Barrett's men will face non-league opposition in the Munster Senior Cup quarter final
TREATY United will play either Ringmahon Rangers or Cobh Wanderers in the Munster Senior Cup after the draw was made. The fixture will be an away tie and will be played on or before the week ending January 29.
The competition will be used as a step towards the new SSE Airtricity League Division 1 campaign for Tommy Barrett and his backroom team. Cork City, Waterford and Cobh Ramblers are the other League of Ireland sides involved in the competition.
Treaty confounded expectations once again in 2022 by reaching the play-offs for a second season in succession. Barrett has been busy in the off-season so far with 12 players confirmed to be part of the squad for this season. Marc Ludden has been announced as the club's new captain following the departure of Jack Lynch.
Barrett's Treaty side get the new league season underway with a home fixture against Bray Wanderers at the Markets Field on February 17 at 7:45pm.
