RIP: Limerick deaths and funeral details, Sunday, February 15

Deaths in Limerick: Tuesday, March 12, 2024

The death has occurred of Áine O’Reilly, Grove House, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick, died tragically following a Road Traffic Accident on February 13th 2026.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Eugene and Ann, brothers Eoin, James and Conor, sister-in-law Aisling, nephew Dáire, aunts, uncles, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in peace

Reposing at Ryan & Whites Funeral Home Pallasgreen (V94 VYH6) Tuesday evening (17th February) from 5 pm until 7 pm. Arriving in St. John the Baptist Church Nicker Wednesday morning at 11 am for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in St. Columba’s cemetery Pallasgreen.

Áine will be reposing at her home (V94 Y1TN) on Monday for family and close friends.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Daniel O'Rourke of Caherguillamore, Bruff, Co. Limerick on February 14th 2026. 

Peacefully in the exceptional care of Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents John and Nora O'Rourke.

He is survived by his loving wife Nora (née Creed), daughters Fiona and Eimear, son Colin, son-in-law Bryan, adored grandchildren, Donnacha and Sinéad, brothers John, Pat and Dick, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephew, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing this Tuesday evening at St. Mary's Church, Meanus (V35 NV05) from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre can be made here

The death has occurred of John O’Connell, Marian Avenue, Roxboro, Limerick.

John passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Athlunkard Nursing Home, on 14th February 2026.

Predeceased by his parents Simon and Mary, brother Bernard and sister Rena.

John will be deeply missed by his brother Gerard, sister-in-law Anne, nieces and nephews, Aoife, Simon, Bryan, Ian and Helen, his adored grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral arriving at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro, on Tuesday 17th February for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, with Burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Mary Conway (nee McMahon) late of Clounreask, Askeaton and formerly of Barrigone and Kilcornan, Co Limerick.

Passed away peacefully in the care of UHL on the 13th February 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by husband Michael, brothers Eamon and Mikey, sisters Ann and Olive.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken partner Tommy, sister Bridget, brothers Johnny and Pat, nephews, nieces, the much loved Mulcahy Family, large circle of family and friends.
