Republic of Ireland striker Michael Obafemi will undergo a medical at Championship table-toppers Burnley ahead of a proposed move from Swansea, according to reports.
The 22-year-old, who has not been included in Russell Martin's Swans squad as of late, has been on the search for a new club this transfer window with Clarets' boss Vincent Kompany expressing an interest in signing the electric attacker.
If the deal goes through, Obafemi will link up fellow Irish international Josh Cullen at Turf Moor with Burnley in pole position to make a return to the Premier League.
The ex-Southampton man has won seven caps for the Irish senior national team, scoring two goals - including a memorable strike against Scotland in the UEFA Nations League last June.
