Crescent's reward for their 34-21 win on Wednesday afternoon is a clash local rivals Ardscoil Rís in the next round of the competition.
The Limerick side got off to the perfect start when Gearoid Hickey touched down after two minutes. Dylan Fitzgerald converted to give Crescent an early 7-0 lead.
Kinsale hit back a quarter of an hour later when Aiden Du Plessis Geiger powered over the line and with Darragh O'Sullivan converting, it left the sides at 7-7.
A Dylan Fitzgerald penalty gave Crescent the lead again after 20 minutes before Gearoid Hickey touched down for his second try of the match on 25 minutes after the Limerick side overturned a Kinsale scrum in the Cork side's half, which gave Crescent a 15-7 lead.
Kinsale brought the contest back to within a point with the last act of the first half when Alex Haughney touched down under the posts and with Darragh O'Sullivan converting, it left the sides at 15-14 heading into the interval.
Gearoid Hickey got his name on the scoresheet yet again for the Limerick side early in the second half and Fitzgerald was accurate yet again from the conversion to give his side a 22-14 lead.
Fitzgerald himself got in on the try-scoring act minutes later and continued his fine kicking form to extend Crescent's lead to 27-14.
Kinsale brought themselves back into the contest late on when Jan Marc Aige touched down and with O'Sullivan converting, it left just 6 points between the sides at 27-21.
The Limerick side put the game to bed with minutes to play when Peter Ezomo touched down and with Gearoid Hickey converting, it meant that Crescent would run out 34-21 winners in what what was an entertaining game of rugby.
