THE three remaining Limerick sides in this season's Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup are in quarter-final action this week.

There is an all-Limerick quarter-final today, Tuesday, when St Munchin's College take on Castletroy College at Liam Fitzgerald Park at 2pm.

St Munchin's booked their place in the quarter-finals after edging past local rivals Árdscoil Rís 28-27 in the previous round at Thomond Park.

Castletroy College did have the opportunity to advance directly to the semi-finals, but the Newtown side lost out to an impressive CBC side in their earlier semi-final qualifier.

A third Limerick side will be in the Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup quarter-final action this week when Crescent College Comprehensive take on Bandon Grammar School at Garryowen FCs Dooradoyle grounds tomorrow, Wednesday, at 2pm.

As with Castletroy, Crescent College Comprehensive missed out on advancing directly to the semi-finals via the semi-final qualifier route when losing out to PBC at Virgin Media Park last month
