In Pictures: Fans cheer on Munster Rugby in URC clash with Glasgow

AN OFFICIAL attendance of more than 17,000 was recorded for Munster Rugby's United Rugby Championship fixture with Glasgow Warriors at Thomond Park on Saturday night last.

Munster were left to rue a slow start which saw them fall 0-28 behind at half-time and 0-31 in arrears early in the second half, before rallying strongly over the remaining half an hour of the contest.

The Scottish side eventually ran out 38-26 winners, although Munster did pick up a try bonus point scoring four tries.

The game was Munster's final outing before this Saturday's mammoth Heineken Champions Cup last 16 tie with Cell C Sharks in Durban, 12.30pm Irish time, live on BT Sport 3.

Photographer Kieran Ryan-Benson was on hand for the Limerick Leader on Saturday last at Thomond Park to capture all the colour and excitement.
