Two Munster players named in Ireland XV for crucial Scotland Six Nations clash

Conor Murray starts for Ireland against Scorland on Sunday

IRELAND head coach Andy Farrell has confirmed his starting lineup for Sunday's Six Nations clash with Scotland at Murrayfield and it contains two Munster players.

Conor Murray and Peter O'Mahony both come back into the team from the side that beat Italy last time out. No other Munster player is in Farrell's 23-man squad.

Hugo Keenan, Mack Hansen and James Lowe are in the back three with Garry Ringrose returning to partner Bundee Aki in the centre. Captain Johnny Sexton also returns at out-half alongside Murray. 

Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan and Tadhg Furlong are in the front row. It's Furlong's first game of the Six Nations.

James Ryan is partnered by Iain Henderson in the second-row, while O'Mahony, Josh van der Flier and Caelan Doris forming a formidable back-row.

Ireland's game with Scotland has a 3pm kick-off at Murrayfield.

IRELAND: Hugo Keenan; Mack Hansen, Garry Ringrose, Bundee Aki, James Lowe; Johnny Sexton, Conor Murray; Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan, Tadhg Furlong; Iain Henderson, James Ryan; Peter O'Mahony, Josh van der Flier, Caelan Doris.

REPLACEMENTS: Ronan Kelleher, Cian Healy, Tom O'Toole, Ryan Baird, Jack Conan, Jamison Gibson-Park, Ross Byrne, Robbie Henshaw.
