Cottage, Glenties, Co. Donegal

A historic tiny stone-built cottage measuring just 17m2, previously used as a national school in the 1800s, is on the market for just €45,000.

Situated on a 0.8-acre site near Glenties, Co Donegal in a tranquil location with beautiful views of the Bluestack mountains, the cottage was used as a hedge school in the 1800's and later became a national school, and then a residence.

It is located on the Bluestack Way marked walkway, a short distance to the blue flag beach at Narin/Portnoo and close to the salmon fishing in the Owenea River. It is listed with an asking price of €45,000 on Daft.ie.
