Former Republic of Ireland coach Anthony Barry has joined Thomas Tuchel's staff at Bayern Munich, it has been announced.
The 36-year-old, who was Stephen Kenny's assistant for one year, has had valuable coaching experience with Chelsea, Belgium, Portugal and Wigan during his professional career to date.
Barry reunites with Tuchel after the pair worked together at Stamford Bridge - winning the Champions League in 2021.
On the appointment, Tuchel said: "I'm very happy. We really wanted to have him with us.
"He has a great quality, whether it is details or set piece situations. I’ve not seen such a level before."
