Mayor John Moran left a marathon council meeting on Tuesday evening
MAYOR John Moran was back at his desk in Limerick council's headquarters this Wednesday morning.
It came after he left a marathon council meeting early on Tuesday night, saying he felt unwell.
The move sparked concern from members, many of whom wished him well following his departure at around 9.30pm.

"He was feeling unwell alright and was offered medical help, and a transfer to hospital if he needed. Instead, he decided to return home before the end of the meeting," a source close to the first citizen told Limerick Live.
However, it's understood he was back working in Merchant's Quay at 7.30am this Wednesday - just 10 hours after he left.
There were several adjournements of the meeting which was held to lay out the corporate plan, a roadmap for a five-year period setting out what the council aims to achieve, how it will do it, and the values guiding its work.
And in his absence, councillors finished out the business of meeting, voting the plans through.
It came despite pleas from some to delay the vote in order to allow the mayor to scrutinise the corporate plan.
