PICTURES: Hijinks and hilarity as County Limerick drama group prepares for the stage

The Athea Drama Group will aim to have the audience in stitches at the Con Colbert Memorial Hall with their upcoming production of Widows Paradise

Athea Drama Group presents Widows Paradise by Sam Cree, a comedy about love, laughter, and living with the opposite sex. Five women embark on a women-only getaway only to find themselves in the wrong caravan, sharing cramped quarters with six men, including the owner, his son, and a blast from the past. The cast are Anne Marie Horgan, Mary Ellen Tierney, Christina Stackpoole, Nora Hunt, Annette O'Donnell, Damien Ahern, Barry Francis, Kieran Murphy, Lal Browne, Conor Hogan and Roger Ryan. Directed by Theresa O'Halloran, showtimes are Thursday, February 19; Sunday, February 22; Wednesday, February  25; Thursday, February 26; Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1 at 8pm at Con Colbert Hall, Athea.
