THOUSANDS of people were out and about in Limerick this Friday night with over 60 events taking place for Culture Night 2023.
Organised by the Limerick Arts Office at Limerick City and County Council, Culture Night is a yearly celebration that invites residents and visitors alike to explore the cultural, artistic, and creative treasures of Limerick.
Galleries, museums, workshops, and studios all opened their doors, welcoming both established patrons and newcomers to immerse themselves in a night of cultural richness.
Some of the highlights of Culture Night in Limerick city included the Sionna Festival at King John's Castle, the annual Pigtown parade and an open night at Henry Street garda station.
Culture Night wasn't confined to the city as a variety of free events also took place in towns and villages such as Cappamore, Kilmallock, Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale, Croom and Murroe.
