It comes after several large drug seizures by gardai in recent weeks.
Crystal meth worth an estimated 32.8 million euros was seized during an operation at the port of Cork 10 days ago.
Cocaine, cannabis and herbal cannabis worth 6.4 million euro were seized at Rosslare Port in Co Wexford the next day.
A variety of drugs – cannabis, MDMA, cocaine, Ecstasy tablets and cannabis jellies – worth an estimated three million euro were seized last Friday.
