LIMERICK Treaty Suicide Prevention have organised a Night of Hope for Lee for their ambassador and boxer Lee Reeves.

The charity says Lee has spent years giving hope to others and “now, it’s our turn to give hope back”.

The fighter remains in a stable but critical condition in Beaumont Hospital this Thursday after a knockout defeat last Saturday night in the 3Arena in Dublin.

The Roxboro native underwent surgery and was placed in a medically induced coma.

Over €61,000 had been raised from a GoFundMe page for Lee and his family. To donate click here

The universally liked 31-year-old has received countless well wishes on social media as people pray for a full recovery.

Lee is known far and wide for his kindness and support of important causes, one of which is Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention.

The group have invited the community to join them at Harvey’s Quay, Limerick city, as “we come together to stand with our ambassador, friend and colleague, Lee Reeves, and his family”.

Entitled, Night of Hope for Lee, it takes place this Friday, August 7 at 7pm.

“Lee has dedicated countless hours to helping others through Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention. He has always been there for those who needed support, compassion and hope. Now it’s our turn to stand beside him.

“This will be a community vigil - a chance to light a candle, reflect, and show Lee and his family that they are not facing this journey alone. Everyone is welcome,” reads a post on social media.
