MUNSTER Rugby head coach Graham Rowntree says the side will have to play better if they are to beat Leinster in Saturday's glamour United Rugby Championship semi-final at the Aviva Stadium, 5.30pm.

Injury-hit Munster reached next weekend's semi-finals on a 14-5 scoreline after Tom Jordan’s first-half red card proved costly for Glasgow.

Rowntree’s side inflicted Warriors’ first home defeat of the season.

Munster's quarter-final win on Saturday came at a cost with captain Peter O'Mahony suffering an arm injury, while RG Snyman, Conor Murray, Calvin Nash and Malakai Fekitoa all came off with head injuries.

Following Saturday night's game Graham Rowntree said: "It was a tough game and I’m immensely proud of the lads. We dug in there.

"This is a very tough place to come and win against a team who are on form. There were some huge performances from a lot of guys.

"But there is so much more we can do better. That was a bit of frustration for us but we'll take that. We have got huge momentum now in our game.

"We have got some form because we have worked hard on our game. But we are going to have to be better to beat this team (Leinster) on Saturday."
