'Do you have what it takes?': The Traitors Ireland are looking for new players for season 2

With The Traitors Ireland season one now over, Kite Entertainment have begun looking for the next group of players to compete in the next series of the hit RTE show

After the thrilling final which saw Faithfuls Kelley, Oyin and Vanessa win the premiere season of The Traitors Ireland, RTE One and Kite Entertainment are once again on the hunt for the castles next batch of Traitors and Faithfuls

RTÉ One and Kite Entertainment are searching for fresh contestants for the next thrilling season of The Traitors Ireland.

The latest franchise to the reality show unlike all others is filmed in Slane Castle in County Meath, has captivated audiences across the country, and is now reopening its doors once again.

Contestants on the show are divided into two groups, the Faithfuls and the Traitors.

The job of the Faithfuls is to correctly identify and banish the Traitors from the castle, as if even one Traitor makes it through the final banishment, they will steal the entire prize pot for themselves.

The Traitors mission is to murder on Faithful each night and scheme for them to banish each other without getting caught.

The Irish edition to the franchise has not disappointed fans as from the very first episode, the series has been full of plotting, betrayal, backstabbing and alliances, and full out fights at the roundtables as well as earning money for the prize fund as a collective.

It has been reported that to compete in next year’s season applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be over the age of 18
  • Charismatic, strategic, and resilient under pressure
  • Keep viewers entertained with personality and charm
  • Build alliances without revealing all their secrets

Kite Entertainment, the production company behind the hit Irish show, shared an update earlier this week asking for applicants who would be interested in taking part in The Traitors to reach out to them via email.

"Do you have what it takes?" Kite Entertainment wrote in a post on social media.

They continued: "If you would like to be considered for future series of The Traitors Ireland, please email traitors@kiteentertainment.com for further details."

Traitor Katelyn from the most recent series commented on the post: "@kiteentertainment thoughts and prayers for the team screening all the applications."
