Search for missing 13-year-old girl stood down as gardaí issue update

A 13-year-old who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been located, gardaí have confirmed.

Destin Dempsey was reported missing from Ballyfermot, Dublin on Thursday, December 5. 

Destiny was described as being approximately 5’ 3” in height with short brown hair and of slim build.

When last seen, Destiny was wearing a full grey tracksuit, black puffer jacket and grey runners. She is known to frequent the Cherry Orchard, Ballyfermot, Clondalkin and City Centre areas.

"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
