One resident of Seasame Street could be feeling the heat in the kitchen from German police.
German authorities were left unimpressed when a costumed driver was captured speeding on camera near the city of Dortmund.
The driver was caught by a mobile speed camera driving just 11km over the limit in Dortmund, dressed as Cookie Monster from Seasame Street.

While the offence is only enough to land the Muppet motorist with a €40 fine, the Dortmund Police issued a no-nonsense statement saying such a costume severely limits a drivers vision and could have resulted in a very serious accident.
The car, which has been identified as a super-rare Audi RS2 Avant, is registered to a 57-year-old man from Hagen, and police say a fine has been issued.
