Gardaí have issued an urgent appeal to the public in tracing the whereabouts of teenager, Lorcan Meehan who was reported since Friday morning.
17-year-old Lorcan was reported missing from Portlaoise, Co Laois yesterday at approximately 11.10am.
Lorcan is described as being 5'1 with a slim build. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.
When last seen, Lorcan was wearing grey jogger pants and a black jacket.
It is believed that Lorcan may have travelled to the Park West area of Dublin.
Gardaí have said that Lorcan’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.
Anyone with information on Lorcan's whereabouts is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
