ALERT: Pasta product pulled from supermarket shelves due to mould concerns

A popular pasta product has been removed from shelves in Irish supermarkets due to safety concerns.

According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), a batch of Roma Formaggio da Pasta Dried Cheese Powder (pack size 80g) is being recalled due to the possible presence of mould.

Consumers are advised not to eat the affected batch, which has a Best Before date of 21/03/2025.

Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.

Retailers are requested to contact their affected customers and recall the implicated batch and provide a point-of-sale recall notice to their customers.
