Ryanair launch weekend flash sale ahead of Aer Lingus  pilots’ industrial action

Ahead of Aer Lingus pilots announcing an indefinite work-to-rule starting next week competing airline Ryanair have launched a flash sale this weekend. 

The indefinite work-to-rule by Aer Lingus pilots will begin from next Wednesday, which means they will not engage in overtime or out-of-hours duties.

Up to 40,000 passengers are expected to be contacted by Aer Lingus in the coming days about flights cancelled due and are to expect their summer holidays to be disrupted.
Ryanair are now offering a major 48hr flash sale, offering fares from just €21.99 for travel throughout July and August, available to book from midnight tonight (Friday, June 21) until midnight (Sunday, June 23 ) at Ryanair.com.

Ryanair’s Head of Comms, Jade Kirwan said: “Whatever your weekend plans are, make sure to factor in time to book your next bargain break away. Ryanair’s got lots of exciting destinations to choose from, including longstanding hotspots like Barcelona, Faro, Milan, Nantes, Paris, and Rodez.”
