A man aged in his 60s is due before the courts in relation to the discovery of almost €3 million worth of cannabis.
The man was arrested on Tuesday May 7 as part of a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue Customs Service, during which €2,780,000 of the illegal drug was discovered.
He is due to appear before Gorey District Court this morning (Thursday May 9) at 10.30am.
Gardaí have also charged another man aged in his 50s, who was also arrested on Tuesday as part of the joint operation.
This is in relation to the discovery of €900,000 worth of cannabis.
The man is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning (Thursday May 9) at 10.30am.
