Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to the incident to come forward
A garda investigation is underway following the theft of a refrigerated container containing meat products, worth €150,000, from a service station in Co. Dublin.
Gardaí in Swords are appealing for information in relation to the theft of the container and its contents from the rear of the premises at Turvey, Donabate, Co. Dublin on Saturday morning.
"At approximately 9am, the container which had meat products to the value of €150,000 was removed from the rear of the petrol station and attached to a Volvo truck cab," said a garda spokesperson who added that gardai believe the truck and cab headed North of the country.
Investigating gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to the incident to come forward.
"Any person who may have witnessed any unusual activity in Turvey, Donabate on the morning of Saturday, May 4, 2024 is asked to contact Swords garda station on 01 666 4700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station," said the spokesperson.
