ALERT: Gardai concerned for welfare of 16-year-old boy reported missing in Dublin

Benedict Talmacel was last seen in the Clondalkin area of Dublin on Saturday

Gardaí are seeking help from members of the public in locating Benedict Talmacel who has been reported missing from his home in the Dublin 8 area of the capital.

The 16-year-old was last seen in the Clondalkin area at approximately 2pm on Saturday.

In an appeal, issued this Monday afternoon, gardai say the teenager is 5 feet 9 inches tall with an average build. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Both gardaí and Benedict's family have expressed concern for his welfare.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Kevin Street garda station in Dublin on 01 666 9400, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
