Irish airport announces launch of new direct route to popular Greek island

An Irish airport has announced the launch of a new direct route to a popular Greek island.

The new service will commence at Cork Airport in May 2025 and will operate weekly, providing direct access to one of the most idyllic islands in Greece, Corfu.

The service also provides the opportunity for passengers to connect to TUI Marella cruises on the Mediterranean, departing from Corfu.

Previously, a direct flight to Corfu was only available from Dublin Airport, with Cork Airport's new route set to facilitate the southern half of the country as well.

The new TUI services are expected to go on sale shortly.
