Harry Potter toy sold in Ireland recalled due to risk of choking and sight damage

A Harry Potter themed toy sold in Ireland has been recalled due to a major safety risk. 

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), customers who bought the LEXIBOOK Harry Potter LED torch projector is urged to cease using it due to a risk of choking and damage to sight. 

Button batteries in the affected product may fall out of the compartment and be swallowed by a child, which could cause choking, and the white LED emits excessive light and may damage a child's eyesight. 

All batches are affected. 

The type/number of the affected model is LTC050HP and the bar code is 3380743092157. 

Customers should stop using the product and keep it out of the reach of children.

Consumers may wish to contact the place of purchase for this product to see what remedies are available to them.
