Gardaí called due to alleged incident on board plane bound for Dublin Airport

Cabin crew on a flight arriving at Dublin Airport on Bank Holiday Monday contacted Gardaí for help due to an alleged incident on board.

According to An Garda Síochána, the request for assistance was made yesterday (March 18) following reports of an incident on board the plane bound for Dublin.

According to Shaun's Aviation on X (formerly Twitter), the BT661 flight from Riga in Latvia was stopped due to "disruptive passengers".

Meanwhile, another flight also reportedly requested Garda assistance on the same day, however there is no further information at this time.

Gardaí confirm there were no arrests.

Enquiries are ongoing.
