Lotto players in Drogheda are today being urged to check their tickets from last night’s draw very carefully after one player matched five numbers and the bonus to win €51,144.
The Wee County winner came into their windfall after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Dunnes Stores, Colpe Cross in Drogheda.
The winning numbers in the March 16 Lotto draw were: 10, 12, 22, 29, 30, 41 and the bonus was 15.
The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: "The Wee County player got their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations off to an early start after scooping €51,144 in the Bank Holiday weekend draw. We are encouraging all of our Lotto players in the Drogheda area who may have purchased their ticket at the Dunnes Stores Colpe Cross to check their tickets carefully today and to make contact with our prize claims team as soon as possible.
"As there was no outright winner of the €4,935,700 jackpot up for grabs in last night’s draw, Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €5.2 million."
The winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lotto HQ.
