Gardaí in Cavan "were flagged down" after a member of the public was involved in a collision of which the other driver "failed to remain at the scene."
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána took to X sharing an image of the car saying: "Gardaí were on patrol on Sunday when they were flagged down by someone whose car had been involved in a collision. The other driver failed to remain at the scene."
