BREAKING: More than 73% vote against Care referendum

Here are the results of the vote on the 40th Amendment of the Constitution

How Ireland voted in the Care referendum

Voters across Ireland have overwhelmingly voted to defeat the proposed amendment to the Constitution in the Care referendum.

The majority of voters in Ireland voted by a margin of three-tio-one against the proposed amendment regarding the Care bill.

The final result, which was announced shortly after 9pm confirmed that 1,114,620 people (73.93%) voted against the proposed amendment, while 393,053 (26.07%) voted in favour of the change.

Here is a breakdown of the votes for each of the 39 constituencies.
