Sarah Healy has been denied a final place in dramatic fashion at the World Athletics Indoor Championships when it appears she was elbowed close to the finish line.
She fell as she came towards the line in the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow 1,500 metres heat, having at one stage led the race.
The athlete told Virgin Media Sport that the incident was "a blur" when asked was she pushed.
"I made enough errors myself to cost me that," she said of her run.
She admitted that she hadn't run a "very smart" race and had been too impatient.
"It's quite embarrassing really," she told Virgin Media Sport.
