UK Pleasure Boys forced to deny Irish weekend gig after raunchy Devenish antics
The management of male stripper group Pleasure Boys UK was forced to deny they were due to make an appearance in Ireland over the weekend.
The group caused a media storm last week when clips of them performing nude for a group of women at The Devenish venue in Belfast went viral.
The raunchy scenes made headline all over the world and the hysteria reached Dundalk over the weekend as false social media posts said the strippers were in town on Saturday.
A post read: "From the Devenish to Dundalk. Boys are here this Saturday." This caused a frenzy with thousands of comments and shares before the rumours were put to bed.
"Girls and guys we hope no one is actually travelling to this place. We are not in Ireland this weekend or any time before April," the group's management posted on social media.
The group were forced to deny performing sex acts with women at their Belfast event after rumours circulated online.
"People are starting to see we was [sic] not in the wrong and just went with the situation so everyone still had fun.
"No one got hurt, no sexual acts were performed and everyone at the show had a fantastic time," they said afterwards.
The UK Pleasure Boys are now enjoying a new spike in popularity with unprecedented demand for their upcoming shows in the UK.
