Dublin Fire Brigade have shared a stark warning about unplug devices, including electric blankets.
Sharing an aftermath picture of the danger of unplugging devices, the brigade said: "Cold one tonight Using an electric blanket? Don't forget to plug out before going asleep."
Speaking of 'plugging out', they reminded the community to always unplug devices before going to bed.
"You should plug out all electronic devices before bed, never leave your phone charging when you sleep," they added.
