Garda search for missing teenager stands down after two weeks
Gardaí have now stood down their search for missing teenage boy, Shane Hafford.
Shane, 17, was reported missing from Stradone, County Cavan, since Friday, January 26, 2024, has been confirmed by Gardaí to have been located 'safe and well'.
He was described by authorities as being approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim build, short brown hair and green eyes. 
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána has said: "Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance."
