Baby toy sold on Amazon recalled over 'risk of strangulation'

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission have issued a product recall for a baby toy sold on Amazon.

A safety issue has been identified with a Tololo Hanging White and Black Umbrella Toy.

The product presents a risk of strangulation as the cords of the product have the potential to tangle. If the toy is being used when a child is crawling or standing, they could strangle themselves with the cords.

The brand is Tololo. The model number is R169261-1. The Amazon ASIN is B0BJK9MLRR. The barcode is X001NL6ENZ. The batch number is unknown.

The product was sold online through Amazon. There are approximately 41 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do
If you purchased one of these products please discontinue use immediately. You may wish to contact Amazon to see if there are any remedies available to you. This can be done via your user account on Amazon.
