In a significant move aimed at enhancing the travel experience for passengers heading to the United States, Dublin Airport has introduced Mobile Passport Control (MPC) at its pre-clearance facility.
This innovative technology allows eligible travellers to streamline their immigration process, reducing wait times and enhancing the overall travel experience.
The Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app, a free and secure application, enables passengers to submit essential travel documents, photos, and customs declaration information electronically. This eliminates the need for cumbersome paper forms and ensures a more efficient processing system.
Graeme McQueen, Media Relations Manager at daa, the operator of Dublin Airport, expressed enthusiasm for the new initiative. "The app means passengers are able to easily upload their documents in advance of arriving at the airport, which should mean quicker processing times, less queuing, and more time to relax at the airport ahead of their flight to the US."
The MPC app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
