The driver of a Ford Fiesta was found to have committed multiple driving offences | PICTURE: An Garda Síochána Facebook page
Gardaí in South Dublin came upon a car last night, Monday, January 15, after noticing that it came up on their Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, meaning it had no tax, insurance or NCT.
The driving was then found to have no driving licence either, but it gets worse than this, he also failed a roadside drink driving test.
The driver was arrested and court proceedings will now follow.
The gardaí have said that this is another example of the danger that people willingly put themselves and other road users in by thinking it won’t be them to cause that collision.
