MMA star Conor McGregor has touched down in County Limerick starting his trip with a drink in a local bar.
The UFC champion shared pictures on X, formerly known as Twitter, of a pint of stout at the Patriot Bar in Abbeyfeale on the border with County Kerry.

It is not known why the Dublin man is in Limerick but he seems to be enjoying his time with friends posting: "Just touched down in Limerick. Check that out for a pint!".
The owner of Forged Irish Stout shared a picture of his brand's drink at the bar in west Limerick.
The private establishment is not open to the public and can only be accessed by booking a stay in the exclusive seven bedroom premises where it is located.
The venue sleeps 30 people and features a dance floor and hot tub as well as the private bar.
Some of McGregor's legion of fans responded to his post encouraging him to try other local pubs while in the area.
Last week, the Notorious announced on social media that he will be returning to the cage in June to fight Michael Chandler.
The former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight champion is the first UFC fighter to hold championships in two weight classes simultaneously.
