Family see Christmas Day to remember with birth of beautiful baby girl

Scarlett Lee Phillips made her entrance into the world at 7:53am on December 25 at University Maternity Hospital Limerick

SANTA Claus brought more than just toys and treats this Christmas, as two proud Limerick parents received the greatest gift of all—an adorable bundle of joy.

William Phillips and Chloe Costello, of Rathcahill East, Monagea, welcomed the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Scarlett Lee Phillips, who made her entrance into the world at 7:53am on December 25 at University Maternity Hospital Limerick.

Scarlett's arrival has brought immense joy and happiness to the Phillips-Costello family, and William and Chloe were excited to share the news with Limerick Live.

"It was so exciting," said new dad William. "Chloe's water broke on Christmas Eve and baby Scarlett was the first to be born in Limerick on Christmas Day. They're flying it," he beamed.

While no visitors were allowed to visit the couple and their newest arrival on December 25, it wasn't long before little Scarlett joined her brother Lucas Costello, 5, and sister Mia Costello, 3, at home in West Limerick on St Stephen's Day. To mark the occasion, newborn was wrapped up in a festive Santa costume as she made her way to meet her siblings.

With the new year just days away, William and Chloe anticipate a busy 2024, but with "plenty of help" all around them, the pair are looking forward to the memories their little family of five will make.
