PASSENGERS on the their flights home to Ireland today experienced a weird natural phenomenon which caused their planes to speed up.
Passangers on flights from North America to Ireland were treated to less time in the sky due to the powerful Jet Stream over the Atlantic today which moved planes at an incredible 1,200kmh.
Six planes were tracked going 650 knots on their flight across the Atlantic ocean bringing people home to Ireland in record time.
