GARDAI came to the rescue of an 'injured' and 'distressed' swan on a busy road.
Garda Darren Murphy and Garda Tricia O'Connor in Athlone received a call this morning to come to the aid of an animal on the N6.
The pair rescued an injured and distressed swan on the N6.
"With the support of the @ISPCA1, she has been seen by the Vet and in the care of a kind volunteer. All in a day's work!," commented Garda Info on Twitter.
