Zach is the son of MCD Productions managing director, Denis Desmond and Irish sensation Hozier's manager, Caroline Downey.

She wrote: “We’re engaged. I would like to remind everyone that I broke my ring finger this year and that’s why it’s deformed these rings may need to be cut off cause they squeezed on!”

Many famous names congratulated the pair, with the likes of Greg O’Shea saying: “Ah! Massive congrats!”, Jedward commenting: “The most scenic setting for your engagement and it’s so you! Delighted for you both, congratulations Roz and Zach” and the 2 Johnnies Johnny Smacks writing: “Ah buzzing for ye lads, congrats”.

On the evening of August 13, Roz posted another array of pictures of her time within the last week, including that of her engagement ring, made by Irish jewellery designer brand, Chupi.
