A major safety issue has been identified in a ladder sold to Irish consumers from an online platform.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the weight limit of the Homidec Telescopic Ladder sold on Amazon is reportedly inaccurate and the product may not hold the weight advertised without collapsing.
This could cause serious injury from falling from the full extended height of the product.
The ASIN numbers of the product are B09P5891YP, B09P58PVVG, B09P59H3B9, B09P5BXD21 and B09P5CNFKH.
It was sold to approximately 292 people in the Republic of Ireland.
If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately and discard the product.
