Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow gale warning for all coasts of Ireland and the Irish Sea.
According to the meteorological service, southerly winds will reach gale force 8 at times on all coastal waters across Ireland.
The alert is in effect from 12am to 6pm on Tuesday (January 10).
A Status Yellow rain warning is also in place for Waterford, Galway and the wider Munster area.
Spells of rain overnight and on Tuesday will be heavy at times leading to spot flooding.
