Dylan Flynn & the Dead Poets
DYLAN Flynn & The Dead Poets will be playing in Dolans Warehouse this Saturday night.
The Limerick group "make songs that come from the heart" and are aiming for "pure communication", describing their music as "surging Indie-Rock that comes with a pop openness, their widescreen yet down-to-earth musicality has a viral appeal, yet remains DIY in origin".
2023 saw the band self-produce and release their debut album and take on their biggest shows to date, selling out rooms across the UK and Ireland.
1,000,000 streams later, the band has performed support slots with the likes of NewDad and Kingfishr, and has received "continuous radio support" across the UK and Ireland.

Describing their style of music, a spokesperson for the band said: "At times they recall the buster of The War On Drugs, or the vitality carried by Gang Of Youths; there’s a nod to Radiohead’s raw emotion, or Springsteen’s surging passion – with their songs speaking to twenty-somethings living in a country that completely ignores them.
"Part of a wave of energy within Irish music, the band have been nurtured within a close-knit creative community - yet are unafraid to speak with a singular voice."
The band will be playing Dolans Warehouse on Saturday, November 2.
Doors open at 8pm, and special guests The Clause and Cliffords will also take to the stage.
Tickets are available from €12.50 on Dolans.ie and Ticketmaster, for over 18s only.
