MUNSTER Rugby have confirmed a contract extension for Edwin Edogbo that keeps him at the province until at least 2027, the province announced on Monday.
The 23-year-old Ireland international came up through the ranks at Cobh Pirates and UCC and became the first player from Cobh to enter the Munster Rugby Academy in 2021.
He has scored seven tries in 29 appearances for Munster to date and became the latest Academy graduate to make his Ireland debut against Italy in this year’s 6 Nations.
Edwin made his Munster debut away to Dragons in 2022 and made eight appearances over the URC title-winning campaign of 2022/23.
His brother Seán made his Munster debut this season in a Player of the Match performance against Dragons and will be promoted from the Academy to the senior squad next season.
