ThE MUSNTER RUGBY side has been named for Friday’s URC Round 18 clash against Benetton at Virgin Media Park (8pm).

The game is sold-out with a crowd of 8,800 to attend.

An unchanged 23-man squad has been named following last week’s bonus-point win over Ulster at Thomond Park.

Craig Casey makes his 100th Munster appearance with Jean Kleyn marking his 150th appearance for the province.

Thaakir Abrahams, Calvin Nash and Diarmuid Kilgallen start in the back three with Alex Nankivell and Tom Farrell in midfield. Farrell continues his record of starting every single game so far this season and will make his 25th appearance for Munster.

Casey and Jack Crowley continue their half-back partnership.

Michael Milne, Niall Scannell and Stephen Archer pack down in the front row with Jean Kleyn and captain Tadhg Beirne in the engine room.

Peter O’Mahony, John Hodnett and Gavin Coombes complete the side.

Lee Barron, Josh Wycherley, John Ryan, Fineen Wycherley, Tom Ahern and Alex Kendellen provide the forward cover.

Conor Murray and Seán O’Brien are the backline replacements.
